Self-refer your pregnancy to RUH Maternity

If you have changed your name or address and not informed your GP then please do not make a referral using this method until the GP has updated their system, please note you will also need your NHS Number.

RUH Maternity is an NHS service providing a single point of access for all maternity referrals in the Bath, Chippenham, Frome, Paulton, Trowbridge and surrounding areas. The aim is to make sure you have access to the right care from day one. RUH Maternity will triage your referral based on the information you provide and the hospital will contact you to start your antenatal care. In the meantime if you are worried about your pregnancy, please tell your GP straight away.

RUH Maternity is the umbrella for midwifery and consultant services at Bath, Chippenham, Frome, Paulton and Trowbridge. Your pregnancy care will be coordinated by midwives based at our community units. Please double CHECK you have entered all your details (especially surname, date of birth and last period) correctly before submitting as errors can delay your appointment being made. If you have a previous surname which might still be on the system, please add it in brackets. Thank you. If you live outside our catchment area, e.g. in BRISTOL or KEYNSHAM, but would like to birth with us, PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER here. You will need to register with your local community midwives and they will refer you later in pregnancy. Thank you. If you are not happy to be pregnant, please do not register here, but contact your GP or BPAS on 03457 304030.
